Adobe AIR Install Issues

1. How to open/install Adobe AIR software

To install Adobe air software, you need to have adobe air installed FIRST.

You can install adobe air via http://get.adobe.com/air

Once that is done, THEN proceed with installation. Double click and open the .air file with adobe air you just installed.

Common Adobe AIR Install Issues:

1. I can't install the Adobe AIR software (.air file):

- Please fully uninstall any previous builds and do a fresh installation of the software that you are trying to install.

If you are using windows:

Please uninstall previous version and do a fresh new installation.  

Make sure you copy the .air installer file to a different local directory and install from there, not from the download location directly

If you are using MAC:

Please uninstall previous version fully.  

Clean up all residue files/lingering files, clean up the trash folder etc. Then do a new installation

- Also please make sure you have adobe air installed in your computer/laptop. If not you can get if via here  http://get.adobe.com/air

2. I can't install the software - Connection Error:

I am getting below error during software activation.

"Could not connect to the internet to validate your copy. Check that you have a working internet connection"
This is because of your internet connection not working properly.  You should be connected to the internet to validate license key (and then login to FB and use)

Please double check your internet connection and then restart app.

3. I can't install the software - Antivirus error:

Question:
After installing Adobe Air I tried to install my copy of Qilio and received a message stating that my computer had found a suspicious object and had rejected it.
How do I overcome this?

Answer:
Some antivirus software incorrectly identify .air files are viruses. Please stop/pause your antivirus software and reinstall .air files..
